My weight loss journey with Slender Fit U
Based on recent reporting from Healthline.com, in the United States, 36.5 percent of adults are obese. Another 32.5 percent of American adults are overweight. In all, more than two-thirds of adults in the United States are overweight or obese. People who are overweight or obese face a lot of health complications, negative consequences, and concerns. In fact, being overweight or obese increases a person’s risk for many diseases and health conditions.
It is not difficult for people to recognize the risks of being overweight. For me, it was not the concern about health as much as personal discomfort. I got tired of struggling to get into clothes and getting all out of breath just climbing a few stairs. I had never been an athlete really but had always felt reasonably healthy. No more. I tried to tell myself I was just getting older but I knew I felt like crap mostly because of all the fat that was weighing down my body. The idea of going to the gym to start trying to work it off seemed like a nightmare to me. That’s when the slogan of a company named Slender Fit U caught my attention: “Get Thin, Skip The Gym”.
I set up a time to speak with program founder, Geri Kelleher. Geri has been spreading the word about this healthy and fast weight loss program since 2009 when she opened her office in Broward County, Florida. My take on our conversation convinced me that while it was going to require discipline on my part to follow the scientifically designed structure of the Slender Fit U weight loss program, I could do it.
Over the next 45 days, I became a new person albeit a much more agile and fit person.
In those few weeks, I lost on average a pound a day for a grand total of 44 pounds in the 45 days. And while Slender Fit U is a low-calorie diet, I rarely felt hungry and with the B12 supplements that went along with the program, my sense of energy and mood were both good. I found it remarkable as each morning on the scale I saw the pounds dropping off. What soon became more noticeable was how my clothes fit. It was not only the pounds I was losing, it was the inches. From my waist and thighs, it was most noticeable. It was quite obvious that the weight and inches lost were mostly from excess fat deposits that had accumulated in specific areas of my body.
After the 45 days not only did I look a lot more like the younger fitter version of myself, I felt liberated with all that extra weight from excess fat almost magically shed. I will say that I followed the program recommendations to eat healthy portions of nutritious foods and avoid too much sugar and those late-night snacks but six months, then a year went by and I had not gained the weight back. I did have to buy a bunch of new clothes but that was very satisfying. I have also been inspired to do more simple exercising like walking and swimming and at my new improved weight, this has also been very satisfying.
Obesity has become such a major problem in our society as a health risk but also for our self-respect. After years of too much fat, I became a new improved version of myself thanks to Slender Fit U.
As I noted in the beginning, Slender Fit U does require you to closely follow the program for those few weeks of your life but it is so worth it to find a much better feeling and better looking new you.
